Convenience class for fetching data into records conforming to key value coding. What is special about this record is its handling of key-value-coding. For example, when fetching keys that represent a key path to another object, i.e. "a.b.c", then the records fetched end up with C objects as values for the key named "a.b.c". If you use regular dictionaries to fetch these records then you would have to use valueForKey() or objectForKey() to retrieve the C object stored under the key "a.b.c". You would then be able to apply a key path to C. For example, instead of this boilerplate:

 String name = "";
 C c = null;
 Object value = rec.objectForKey("a.b.c");
 if (value != NSKeyValueCoding.NullValue) {
     c = (C) value;
     name = (String) c.valueForKeyPath("x.y.name");
 }
 

you can use regular valueForKeyPath() like this:

 String name = (String) rec.valueForKeyPath("a.b.c.x.y.name");
 

Values of NSKeyValueCoding.NullValue are automatically translated to null and you can use the valueForKeyPathWithDefault() method to translate null to a default value and get rid of casting the value like this:

 String name = rec.valueForKeyPathWithDefault("a.b.c.x.y.name", "");
